Welcome to Trubinda Quarter Horses, situated in the productive Goulburn Valley, Victoria, Australia, on 100 irrigated, fertile acres, just perfect for raising beef cattle and quarter horses.

We have been showing and breeding quarter horses since 1986, and we are proud to have bred, trained and shown National, State, Australian Halter Showcase & National Pleasure Horse Association Champions in a variety of events.
Our passion is Western Pleasure. We offer for sale progeny from our beautifully bred broodmares, selected for their temperament and ability, who trace back to Leo, Zippo Pine Bar, Hotrodders Jet Set, Zips Chocolate Chip, Rule Breakin and more. Enjoy browsing our website, and feel free to contact us with any enquiries.

NEWS:

12 March 2012: We managed to make it through the flood waters to attend the Australian Halter Showcase, after a week of floods it was nice to get our feet onto some dry land! Our boys put in some good runs and we came home very happy with them. Summertime Blues placed 3rd in a big Amateur Senior Trail class, and finalled in the Senior HUS - his first ever HUS class! Imagine Me In Blue placed 7th in the 3yo HUS Showcase, and had a beautiful run in the 3yo Western Pleasure Showcase against some very tough competition. Big congratulations to Rachel Elliot and My Deliberate Breeze (out of Tempted To Concent) on winning the Amateur Jnr Trail and Highpoint Junior Amateur of the show. Many thanks to Lisa Angus Photography for the gorgeous photos.

27 February 2012: We had a great time at the Summer Sizzler, always nice to catch up with friends, and we love watching good pleasure horses strutting their stuff. Congratulations to Lyn Crapper & The Grey Coupe on placing 2nd in Select Amateur Western Pleasure; we were very happy with SummerTime Blues placing 3rd in Amateur Senior Trail over a tight trail course. Imagine Me In Blue placed 6th in the 3yo Western Pleasure, and finalled in a big Amateur Junior Western Pleasure class, along with his big brother A Tahnee Bit Blue and Sarah Brockhoff. Also happy to report that Rachel Elliot and My Deliberate Breeze, out of our leased mare Tempted To Concent, won the Amateur Horsemanship class. We now have a week off before heading off to Werribee for the Australian Halter Showcase.

29 December 2011: Hope everyone had a great Christmas, and wishing everyone a happy and prosperous New Year!!  Nitro (Good Prophecy x Chocolate Obsession) is now 2 months old, and growing like a weed. He is starting to turn grey and showing all the traits we want in a pleasure prospect. We are really happy with this little guy, he is such a cool dude!

29 November 2011:  This is always a hectic time of year for us, cutting hay, watering, and breeding mares; but we took some time off to attend the Victorian QH State Show held at Tatura from 24th to 27th November. Its still early in the show season, so it was great to see some of the horses we have bred gaining some good results: Sarah Brockhoff and A Tahnee Bit Blue had a fabulous show, achieving Reserve Champion in Junior Western Pleasure and Junior Hunter Under Saddle, 3rd in the Open Champagne Stakes Western Pleasure, and 4th in the Open Hunter Under Saddle Feature with Dave Pearce in the saddle; and then backing up with a 3rd in the Amateur Hunter Under Saddle Feature for Sarah. Lyn Crapper and The Grey Coupe continued to perform consistently, placing 3rd in the Select Amateur Western Pleasure and the Select Amateur Western Pleasure Feature. We were very happy with our own Imagine Me In Blue, who placed 5th in the 3yo Western Pleasure Feature, and 4th in 3yo Hunter Under Saddle.

10 July 2011 : Another show season is drawing to a close...and we are, again, very proud of the results achieved at major shows by Trubinda bred horses and their owners. Highlights include:
